Described as the Eternal Spring
City, and located in the center of Yunnan,
at an altitude of 1800m, Kunming is the
direct gateway city of Yunnan and South
East China. Despite of its fast economic
development, the air of the Yunnan capital
is relatively pure here, so it is a good
place to hang around for a few days and
check some nice attractions: don’t
miss the Stone Forest, which is easy to
arrange on a day trip from Kunming. For
the rest of your spare time in Kunming,
pay a visit to the Golden Temple, Bamboo
Temple or on Western Hills, to have great
vista of the huge Dian Chi Lake and Kunming
city.
