The show not only explores the history of Xishuangbanna from different angles, but also provides a great introduction to its festivals, culture and beliefs of the different ethnic groups. In the Dai dialect, Mengbalanaxi means “mysterious and magical hometown.” During the performance, you can feel the deep attachment of the locals to their land that nourishes them.
