Introducing the Double Dragon Bridge around Jianshui
The Double Dragon Bridge is located 5 km west of Jianshui near the confluence of the Tachong and Lu rivers and is considered an architectural masterpiece for both its structural and aesthetic qualities. The bridge is 148 metres long.
Built during the Qing dynasty in the 17th century, it is one of the oldest bridges in China. Originally, it had just 3 arches. Later, 14 arches were added because of the change in the course of the Tachong River, which it spans.
