Your dining room: In a Bell tent or alpine hut that can seat up to 12 people around a table next to a fire. It will be decorated with tablecloths, napkins, candle holders, kerosene lamps, enamel dishes and a pitcher for wine.

Meals of the caravans around Shangri La

Daily program: Tibetan caravans around Shangri La (4 days)
Day 1: Shangri La - Ringha - Alpage. 3h walk, 8 Km
Meet with your companion at your hotel in Shangri La. Departure for the Tibetan farm in the Ringha Valley, where the Tibetan caravan starts around Shangri La. Walk through the valley and Ringha Plain, and pass by a pass at 3740m altitude. Overnight in an alpine pasture at 3960m.
Day 2: Continuation of the Tibetan caravan. 7 hours walk, 14 Km
Ascension of 3 successive passes located between 3800 and 4100 m. View of the mountain peaks of the region, such as the Kawa Karpo (Meili Mountain), the Yading Mountain Range in Sichuan, and the Abujee Massif. The hike passes through forests of larch, fir and rhododendrons of rare beauty. The camp tonight is planned on a new meadow located at 4052m above sea level.
Day 3: Walk to Lake Abujee. 8h walk, 20 Km
Continuation of the hike to the sacred lake of Abujee, with 20km of walking, and 2 passes over 4000m. Picnic at the edge of the beautiful Lake Abujee. Camp located on an alpage at 3750m.
Day 4: Alp - Shangri La. 6h walk, 17km
You will take a beautiful route through rice fields and various pastures. Pass at 3900m then descent to the plain of Ringha. At the first Tibetan village, your driver will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel in Shangri La.
