In
a traditional Bai village just
4 km from Dali Old Town the House
by the Lake is a refuge for seekers
of calm, nature and peace and
for those who want to spend time
with their families again. With
room for two families of 4 or
a group of 8 to 10, adults can
relax on the sunlit terrace while
children play badminton in the
garden. The veranda is the ideal
spot to sip on a tea and lose
yourself in a book. The wooden
boat dock provides a vantage on
the changing colors of Erhai Lake,
not to mention a canoe or a dinghy
for jaunts on the water. How about
billiard after dinner, or perhaps
connecting with the outside world
with some emails to friends and
