Your room: a large and elegant Bell tent to accommodate 2 to 6 travelers (perfect for a family), Tibetan blankets, cushions and duvets, gas heating.
Your dining room: In a Bell tent or alpine hut that can seat up to 12 people around a table next to a fire. It will be decorated with tablecloths, napkins, candle holders, kerosene lamps, enamel dishes and a pitcher for wine.

Daily program: Tibetan caravans around Shangri La (4 days)

Day 1: Shangri La - Ringha - Alpine pasture. 3 hours of walking, 8 km

Meet your guide at your hotel in Shangri La. Depart for a Tibetan farm in the Ringha Valley, where today’s Tibetan caravan around Shangri La begins. Walk through the Ringha Valley and plain, crossing a pass at an altitude of 3,740m. Spend the night in an alpine pasture at 3,960m.

Day 2: Continuation of the Tibetan caravan. 7 hours of walking, 14 km

Ascent of three successive passes located between 3,800 and 4,100 m. Views of the region’s mountain peaks, such as Kawa Karpo (Meili Mountain), the Yading mountain range in Sichuan, and closer by, the Abujee massif. Our hike takes us through forests of larch, fir, and rhododendron trees of rare beauty. Tonight’s camp is planned on a new mountain pasture located at an altitude of 4052 m.

Day 3: Walk to Lake Abujee. 8 hours of walking, 20 km

Continuation of our hike to the sacred lake of Abujee, with today’s 20km and 8-hour walk, and the crossing of two passes at over 4000m. Picnic lunch taken at the edge of the beautiful Lake Abujee. Camp located on an alpine pasture at 3750m.

Day 4: Alpine pasture - Shangri La. 6 hours of walking, 17km

Today you will take a beautiful route passing through rice fields and various mountain pastures. You will cross a pass at 3,900 meters and then descend to the Ringha plain. At the first Tibetan village, your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Shangri La.
