The Liotard guest house is located in a superb Tibetan farmhouse renovated by a Franco-British couple passionate about the region, helped by a friendly Tibetan team. It is located in the small Tibetan village of Ringha, located about twenty kilometers from Shangri La in North Yunnan.
The guesthouse has 2 rooms: a superb room with superb Tibetan paintings, in the old temple of the house, and a new room on a wing of the house. These rooms have a magical and unique atmosphere, comfortable and warm with their wood stove. They also have a bathroom. Dinner can be taken on site, otherwise at a neighboring Tibetan family’s house.
Note that you can also spend a night in a fixed camp of comfortable tents set up in the garden, with access to a dedicated bathroom in the house, western toilets in the house or dry toilets in the field.
